The Studio will be hosting an exhibit of The Taos Book Art Group July 16th through July 30th.

The following artists are included in the exhibit: Jamie Ash, Sherry Carlton, Sara Jean Gray ,Gail Goodwin, Carolyn Hinske, Jill Rounds, Patty Sheehan, Robbie Steinbach, Cindy Stitler and Maggi Younger.

My current exhibit of Scared Spaces has moved from my studio to the First Community Bank in El Prado. It will be up until June 30th.

New paintings, pottery and bookart.

The public is welcome.

Gail's studio, along with several other artists studios, is situated on the historic Couse Estate in downtown Taos. On Oct. 17th from 9-12 am the home and studios will be open to the public. It is a beautful opportunity to see the home and discover some of the history of Taos' first artists and their organization. It is also a wonderful opportunity to see the studios and works of artists working there today.

My newest bookart will be on view at the Millicent Rogers Museum as part of The Big Read. Bookartists were invited to respond to Rudolph Anayas' book "Bless Me Ultima".

The opening reception will be 2-5 pm on Sat. November 7th.

My book is very small - only 11/2" x 2". It is covered in cloth and bound with origami paper. It is encased in a religious shadowbox with a glass door for access. The poem and drawings were what came from me after reading the book.
